Ad banners seem to be everywhere on the internet - maybe it's all those banner maker services that have proliferated of late. It is difficult to get away from them. Most of the banners are absolutely useless. For the most part I do not click on banners as I find them to be a waste of time. Some of them are infuriating as they seem to take up the entire website and makes me feel compelled to click on the banner to get rid of it. I have been using the internet for well over a decade and can not believe how many banners there are now on the internet. A few years ago I barely saw one a website. I guess the internet is a great way to market products and banners are ideal for some businesses. I am sure this particular type of advertising method has its merits if done properly. I must admit I own a website and have a few banners, however I ensure they are not over done and do not interfere with the content of the website. |

Days past, we did not have the advantage that we now have. I am talking about one of the many things that the growth in technology has enabled us do. It is true that years gone past we would not be in position to write an mail and get a response within minutes or even seconds. Writing and sending a letter meant that one would have to wait until the recipient got the letter and replied. This would take many days if not weeks and it was a very inconvenient way of sending a message which at times would be an emergency. Do not forget that at time the mail got lost on the way and never got to be read by the person it was meant for. All this is now gone and we can enjoy sending mails online which is referred to as emailing. As one goes about creating or reading an email, problems can come up. What you should do is get help on email. This can be done by clicking the help icon or if if you are doing it in a cyber cafe you can ask the attendant for help. |
